Alice campus

School continues after primary school

Most of the population living in the slum went to primary school only, or abandoned it without even reaching the minimum level of school education. Most adults never went to school.

After finishing primary school, an extremely important issue emerged: how could we allow our children, especially the ones living in orphanages, to continue their studies?

Alice Campus program was created with the aim of letting older boys and girls to continue their studies, bringing them into technical-secondary schools. Therefore, not only education, but also – and mostly – training for a professional future.

A SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM FOR THE SLUM’S BOYS AND GIRLS

Today, our scholarships are mainly in technical-professional hospitality studies, which guarantee a secure professional future.

Therefore, Alice Campus sustains boys and girls in technical-professional secondary schools of Food & Beverage. At the end of the 4-year studies, the students can participate to the program Alice Italian Food Academy.

In addition, for the most gifted and deserving, the program VIVING LEADERS is expected, where four students from the school of Dandora will be selected to attend the best schools and universities in Nairobi in order to grow and become leaders of their Country.

Our boys and girls in secondary schools live in our orphanage named Alice Twins House, about 100 meters from Alice Village, an actual host structure for teenagers.
